Bezawada Rowdilu ==> Bezawada


Ram Gopal Varma and civil society members of Vijayawada city have been at loggerheads over the controversial title - Bejawada Rowdilu. The title throws bad light on the city and story of the movie might provoke two communities, argued civil society members and they demanded to drop off the title and also change the script.

Ram Gopal Varma, producer and presenter of the film, vehemently denied changing title or story despite from pressure from all quarters. As the movie is gearing up, finally Ram Gopal Varma dropped off the 'rowdilu' from the title. Now the movie is only titled -Bejawada. 

Starring Naga Chaitanya as the lead hero, the film is directed by newcomer Vivek Krishna and produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru.
