We're done laughing and are finally releasing a definitive statement. FHM hopes this will finally put to rest all absurd allegations and accusations by Miss Kajal Agarwal, her family and her legions of fans and well wishers....
KABEER SHARMA (Editor, FHM INDIA)
People people calm down. FHM has never in the past or will in the future morph pictures of any celebrities. We shot with madam Agarwal on the 18th of August in Mumbai and have a full team composed of assistants, stylists, make up artists, photographers and others to back it up. We’d be happy to release the full untouched raw pictures on the internet soon to back it up also.
Furthermore we also have a model release form signed by Kajal herself. To say that the picture is morphed is an insult to both the brand FHM as well as the collective intelligence of you (her fans) as well as anyone with half an idea about how photoshop works. We don’t know what exactly made Kajal change her mind after the shoot…but if she did the magazine really can not be blamed.
I should know I was present at the shoot and Edit FHM India.
And the truth shall set you free....!

In the world of bodybuilding and physique transformation, one of the most highly respected physiques of all time belonged to a guy who stood 5’7″ and weighed between 130 and 165 lbs.
That’s right…at his heaviest, Bruce Lee weighed only 165 lbs.
And yet, bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger were in awe of the body he built.
So, how did he do it?
And more importantly, how can you do it?
How can you build a body like this?
Well, if you want to learn about the weightlifting routine he used to build his strength and increase his musclemass….pick up a copy of The Art of Expressing the Human Body.
But…you will be wasting your time.
If Bruce Lee was alive today, he would not be using the training routines found inside that book.
Bruce Lee believed that as a warrior and as a person, one should never “get set into one form. One should adapt and create your own style, and let it grow, be like water”.
Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. When you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; When you put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; When you put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
At this point, you may be asking…what the heck does being formless like water have to do with fitness, working out and getting a wicked set of abs like Bruce Lee?
Well, I’m going to tell you.
Being formless like water means using those training techniques that work for your particular goals…and to not get all wrapped up in dogma.
There is no perfect workout
There is no perfect diet.
What there is, is….
- your body as it currently exists,
- your vision of how you want your body to be
- and a whole bunch of tools & techniques that may or may not help you achieve your goals.
Becoming attached to a certain training method (bodybuilding, yoga, pilates, crossfit, cardio, walking, aerobic classes, Tae-Bo, P 90X, etc…) is a sure path to stagnation and unattained goals.
The same goes for nutrition.
If the tool is ineffective, find a way to make it effective or replace it with another tool.
Be like water
.
Unique goals require unique solutions.
One size does not fit all.
Be fluid like water…and get a wicked set of abs like Bruce Lee
In Hinduism, after death, the crow, which is said to contain the soul, is fed rice. This is because it is soul food.
Today people are constantly in search of brown rice, red rice, black rice. Anything but the rice they’ve been eating for generations. It’s a quest which is perverted. We don’t even understand the meaning of organic. The people who go in search of organic grains have not even tried growing easily available dhaniya (coriander) on their balcony.
They tell you Japanese sticky rice has a high glycaemic index, or that a certain low glycaemic index variety of rice is good for you. What they’re not telling you is that it is not possible to measure the glycaemic index of every variety of rice, and there are variations even in the same variety. For all you know, the local rice grown in Karjat could be the healthiest rice available, but no one has published a paper on it. Because there is no money to be made in telling you that what you eat every day is in fact the healthiest thing to eat.
We want to complicate being healthy. We have been conditioned to believe that it just can’t be as simple as to eat what you usually eat and sleep right to lose weight. It has to be a more complex issue because if it was not, somebody as intelligent as me would surely have figured it out by now. People have told me, “I have achieved everything in my life I wanted to except losing weight.” That’s because even if you apply all the principles you have used to achieve success in the world, to your body, you will turn out to be a loser. The body needs to be nurtured. It requires compassion, it requires attention.
The rice paranoia
We’ve made a big deal out of rice. We’ve turned it into this one thing we should not eat to magically be slim. Truth is, we are all fat essentially because we have stopped eating our traditional dal and rice.
Diets are based on the concept that if you give up what you are accustomed to eating, you will lose weight. India is largely rice-eating. Hence “give up rice and eat chapattis” came to be. Follow this and you will end up frustrated.
Your grandparents were not obese despite eating rice all the time. Traditional rice-eating cultures such as China, Nepal or south India are not obese cultures. It’s not just what I eat that makes me fat; it’s also what I do, how I work, how I sleep, how much I eat, what state of mind I eat in, that makes the difference.
Rice is high neither in calories nor in fat content. Most Ayurvedic diets are rice-based. It’s not only the least allergenic of grains, it is rich in vitamin B, minerals and amino acids that are otherwise limited in our typically vegetarian diet.
Over time we have learnt to discount our oral traditions. There may not be a paper published on it, yet experience tells you that when you travel, all you want is to come home to some rice and dal.
The great substitution con
Misunderstood: Rice is high neither in calories nor in fat content.
Everyone is on a substitution drive. We won’t eat chapattis but wholewheat bread is fine. Traditional folklore has images of rice being pounded. This is because the husk is not easily digestible. So you aren’t really doing your stomach any favour by struggling with the husk. Even if you substitute brown-bread pavwhile eating pav bhaji, yourbhaji has lost its nutritional value by being mashed and overcooked. How is brownpav going to help increase its nutrient absorption? Be clear that you are eating for the excitement of your senses, then enjoy it fully once in a while. If you start eating it on a daily basis, your tongue and stomach will revolt. The tongue is capable of recognizing what is good for it and what is not. But the weight-loss industry tells us the tongue is the culprit.
People even substitute dairy now. Honey, milk, yogurt, sugar, ghee are all part of our cultural diet; together they are called panchamrit. But panchamritalso implies they must be eaten in the right quantity. When you substitute sugar with an artificial sweetener, the tongue is not even able to recognize the molecule as sugar. So the craving is postponed, not dealt with. The tongue’s six tastes—bitter, sweet, sour, salty, pungent, astringent—have to be nourished in proportion. They will only be nourished when sugar is used. So, a teaspoon of sugar in coffee will do less harm than munching biscuits to satisfy a postponed craving.
Every meal should contain each of the six tastes in part to optimize nutrient absorption, assimilation and excretion. When the tongue senses balance, the body has also received optimal nutrition. This kitchen wisdom is not sold to us.
Anything exotic will do
According to media reports, the cereal industry has grown. This is because it is now fashionable to say, “Oh, I really don’t have the time to make upma.” We’re virtuously eating cereal because it is sold to us as though it is the healthiest thing to do. Yet packaged foods bring up so many other health issues.
The rhododendron is a Himalayan flower found to have high antioxidant and heart-protecting properties. It’s not marketed because nobody knows about it. And yet, ask anyone about the Acai berry and they will tell you how wonderful it is. Just because it’s marketed well and is exotic, we all aspire to have it, even though it’s easier to find the rhododendron on an average middle-class holiday to Shimla and Manali.
When you eat at a temple, they will always serve you the salads and chutneys on the left, vegetables on the right and the main carbohydrates in the centre. According to the yogic system, we must eat less of what is on the left, more of what is on the right, and stay centred on what is in the centre of the plate. The concept of eating salads separately is foreign to us. Salads are to be consumed in small quantities, and never without the other components of your meal. We don’t even know if the West culturally ate salads or if it is part of the weight-loss culture. In China, for instance, every vegetable is cooked, as in India.
Go back to basics
Ideally, if you eat organic, grow the grains yourself. If you cannot grow them, buy them from a source where you know the field and farmer. We have to be far more involved in food than we currently are. There is no way around it.
We need to eat seasonal food, but first, we need to know what is seasonal. A mango in winter does not have the same effect on the body that a mango in summer has. By not understanding this, urban India is getting fatter and fatter.
The world over, those who can afford to eat fresh, nutritiously balanced food every day are those who live in luxury. We want a dietitian to define the quantity of food we eat. In fact, the highest wisdom is knowing when to stop eating, and for that, your senses must be channelized towards the act of eating. Food is not a culprit; it is what nourishes us and helps us stay thin. Food does not get in the way of our weight loss, our bad eating habits get in the way of food helping us stay healthy.

See how Lokpal Bill can curb the politicians, Circulate it to create awareness
Existing System | System Proposed by civil society |
| No politician or senior officer ever goes to jail despite huge evidencebecause Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) and CBI directly come under the government. Before starting investigation or prosecution in any case, they have to take permission from the same bosses, against whom the case has to be investigated. | Lokpal at centre and Lokayukta at state level will be independent bodies. ACB and CBI will be merged into these bodies. They will have power to initiate investigations and prosecution against any officer or politician without needing anyone’s permission. Investigation should be completed within 1 year and trial to get over in next 1 year. Within two years, the corrupt should go to jail. |
| No corrupt officer is dismissed from the job because Central Vigilance Commission, which is supposed to dismiss corrupt officers, is only an advisory body. Whenever it advises government to dismiss any senior corrupt officer, its advice is never implemented. | Lokpal and Lokayukta will have complete powers to order dismissal of a corrupt officer. CVC and all departmental vigilance will be merged into Lokpal and state vigilance will be merged into Lokayukta. |
| No action is taken against corrupt judges because permission is required from the Chief Justice of India to even register an FIR against corrupt judges. | Lokpal & Lokayukta shall have powers to investigate and prosecute any judge without needing anyone’s permission. |
| Nowhere to go - People expose corruption but no action is taken on their complaints. | Lokpal & Lokayukta will have to enquire into and hear every complaint. |
| There is so much corruption within CBI and vigilance departments. Their functioning is so secret that it encourages corruption within these agencies. | All investigations in Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be transparent. After completion of investigation, all case records shall be open to public. Complaint against any staff of Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be enquired and punishment announced within two months. |
| Weak and corrupt people are appointed as heads of anti-corruption agencies. | Politicians will have absolutely no say in selections of Chairperson and members of Lokpal & Lokayukta. Selections will take place through a transparent and public participatory process. |
| Citizens face harassment in government offices. Sometimes they are forced to pay bribes. One can only complaint to senior officers. No action is taken on complaints because senior officers also get their cut. | Lokpal & Lokayukta will get public grievances resolved in time bound manner, impose a penalty of Rs 250 per day of delay to be deducted from the salary of guilty officer and award that amount as compensation to the aggrieved citizen. |
| Nothing in law to recover ill gotten wealth. A corrupt person can come out of jail and enjoy that money. | Loss caused to the government due to corruption will be recovered from all accused. |
| Small punishment for corruption- Punishment for corruption is minimum 6 months and maximum 7 years. | Enhanced punishment - The punishment would be minimum 5 years and maximum of life imprisonment. |

Raksha Bandhan (Hindi: रक्षाबंधन, Punjabi: ਰਕਸ਼ਾਬੰਧਨ, Urdu: رکشا بندھن the bond of protection), or Rakhi (Hindi: राखी, Punjabi: ਰਾਖੀ, Urdu:راکھی), is a festival primarily observed in India, which celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters. The festival is observed by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs The central ceremony involves the tying of a rakhi (sacred thread) by a sister on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. The festival falls on the full moon day (Shravan Poornima) of the Shravan month of the Hindu lunisolar calendar. It grew in popularity after Rani Karnavati, the widowed queen of Chittor, sent a rakhi to the Mughal emperor Humayun when she required his help.
The festival is marked by the tying of a rakhi, or holy thread, by the sister on the wrist of her brother. The brother in return offers a gift to his sister and vows to look after her as she presents sweets to her brother. The brother and sister traditionally feed one another sweets. Since North Indian kinship practices give cousins a status similar to siblings, girls and women often tie the rakhi to their male cousins as well (referred to as cousin-brothers in regional parlance) in several communities.Unrelated boys and men who are considered to be brothers (munh-bola bhai or adopted brothers) can also be tied rakhis, provided they commit to a lifelong obligation to provide protection to the woman or girl.

Ranchi: Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee has been treating poor patients for a mere Rs five for the last 55 years. He is said to be a medical marvel of a different kind. His consultation charges have helped many poor patients in times of sickness when other doctors and hospitals are too expensive for them.
One such family who have immense respect for Dr Mukherjee is that of Harinandan Singh. Singh, who like every doting father, wanted the best cure for his sick son, but he couldn't afford it. A harsh reality faced by thousands across the country.
Luckily for Singh there was a way out - their doctor Sahib Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who treated Singh's son for just Rs 5.
Dr SP Mukherjee said, "I have learnt that one has to draw a line and to know how much is enough. That's the point that one should look for because if I am the doctor I should have a sympathetic attitude to my patients. Everything cannot be commercial. If I would have liked to become a billionaire or millionaire, I should have taken up some other profession."
Dr Mukherjee, 75-years-old, has been following his professions' Hippocratic oath every single day since 1957.
Perhaps his own personal tragedy holds the key to his selfless service.
He lost his first wife when she was just 29. She died of an incurable disease leaving behind two young daughters. Dr Mukherjee remarried but sadly his second wife is crippled and bed ridden for the last three years.
"So things have been very bad… Very very bad all my life. I could have served the people better if my family life could have been better," Dr Mukherjee said.
However, most of his patients are not aware of Dr Mukherjee's personal tragedy, for them his cure is god sent.
"He is like a God for us," said Harinandan Singh.
Dr Mukherjee spends two hours everyday in his Lalpur Pathology Lab. What he earns in the pathology lab helps him give free medicines to patients and treat them for just Rs 5 - an insignificant amount in today's time.
This Rs 5 treatment is what gives his patients the cure and happiness which is priceless, and perhaps in their good will Dr Mukherjee finds a remedy to his life's tragedies.
"When a child suffering from broncho demonia or a child suffering from diarrhea vomiting comes to me in a very precarious condition I treat him. Sometimes I suggest him for hospitalisation but they don't go and subsequently they come back with a smiling child that is my reward and that is my professional fees," added Dr Mukherjee.

Director :: Luv RanjanZone :: Hindi Film / Bollywood
Pyaar ka Punchanama is mainly a satire on Love and Relationships. It is a story of three guys Liquid,Choudhary,Rajat who will fall in love due to some incidents. Liquid is hilarious with his gaali (vulgarity) language, short temper. Choudhary looks like a rugged guy and his character also looks like that. Rajat looks soft and his character is also like that.
The director has not upto mark in the intro incidents of Rajat's and Choudhary's love.
A class movie. Only for 18+. If you watch with your friends, you will like it to some extent.Second half drags but on a whole, we can watch it easily.
